  I have been to the emergency department multiple times. They have been awesome and quick seeing me with my back injury. The doctors and nurses didn't care about a quick simple fix they wanted a long term issue solved and spent the time contacting other hospitals for me.

  Midwives, obstetricians, students, nurses in charge, cleaners and kitchen staff were fabulous which made for a very positive experience.

  The staff in ED couldn't have been more helpful with my wrist break on 3rd August 2017. The xray staff and all the students I encountered during my time there were also lovely. Couldn't fault anything. Don't ever want to repeat the experience never the less!!!

  We moved to Bass coast just after my husband was diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer that had metastised to his brain. He was given months to live. It was devastating. We were assured John would get palliative care and die at home with pain control. This did not happen the palliative care team would not attend John in the last week of his life and he was taken in agony by paramedics to Wonthaggi Hospital where he died. I still have not received a reply made to Bass Coast about why this happened to John, he was a kind and gentle soul. I grieve for my husband it is made so much worse by my memories of the pain etched in his face in his final days. Nothing but contempt for Bass Coast Health.
